Did you (like me) miss the massive NYC Comic Con last month? No worries! The Seward Park branch of the New York Public Library is hosting it's first ever Youth Sci-Fi Comic Con! There will be guest authors, giveaways, and treats provided by Brooklyn Whiskers. This event is open and free to the public!
I'll be there, talking about my ghost hunting experience with the web series Ghost Stories Ink and how it helped me in writing The Kat Sinclair Files series. I might even show a sneak peek of the episode, filmed at the gorgeous (and very haunted!) Morris-Jumel Mansion! And of course, I'll have signed copies of DEAD AIR to give away. Hope to see you there!
Where: Seward Park Library
Date: Saturday, November 21st, 2015
Time: Noon to 4pm
I just found out that the inaugural Queens Book Festival will be in June 2016. A book festival! In Queens! As a resident of the royal borough, I was QUITE excited to discover this. Then I learned more what they're planning – pop-up bookstore! a Queens literacy crawl! – and my excitement increased tenfold. If you as thrilled about all this awesomeness as I am, you can help make it happen by donating to their Indiegogo campaign.
